The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has taken to social media to inform residents and visitors about temporary disruptions affecting select stations on the Red and Green Lines. These disruptions are a result of heavy rainfall, prompting the RTA to schedule maintenance work for Wednesday, April 17, 2024, impacting metro schedules and station operations. To alleviate inconvenience, the RTA has arranged for complimentary shuttle bus services at specific stations along both lines.
Previously, disruptions were experienced on the Red Line between UAE Exchange and Dubai Internet City stations, as well as between Max station and Expo 2020 and UAE Exchange stations. Additionally, service interruptions occurred earlier at the ONPASSIVE station.
In light of these developments, the RTA advises commuters to check their official channels for real-time updates before embarking on their journeys.
